Although our core practice strengths focus on litigation, Deily, Mooney & Glastetter has a wide-ranging business law practice.  Our attorneys collaborate to serve clients in a variety of interrelated transactional, administrative and trial matters.

• We have a substantial creditors' rights and bankruptcy practice, representing secured and unsecured creditors in all courts in which our attorneys are admitted or are permitted to practice by the court. Our lawyers use their knowledge of finance documentation and credit policies to advance our clients' interests and secure adequate protection or recovery of their collateral and the appropriate treatment of their claims.  We also represent other interests in bankruptcy matters, such as trustees, creditor committees, debtors, and defendants in adversary proceedings.
• We advise lenders and borrowers in commercial loan transactions and workouts, negotiating and documenting asset-based and formula-based credit facilities and resolving loan problems through innovative restructuring and workout strategies.
• We represent national and local clients throughout the Northeast in commercial litigation involving creditors' rights, collateral recovery, lender liability and commercial torts.
• We offer business counseling to clients who need assistance with entity formation, governance, internal controls, contracts and UCC matters.
• We provide our business clients with effective retail and commercial collections services in the State of New York, and replevin services in a broader geographical area.
• We resolve land use, zoning and title disputes before the courts and relevant administrative bodies in New York and Massachusetts.

Client Diversity

Our firm represents major asset-based lenders in the automotive, trucking and equipment manufacturing industries. We also assist borrowers and lenders in other industries with documenting and negotiating asset-based loans. By working with both financial institutions and their established and entrepreneurial borrowers, we are often able to anticipate and prevent problems during loan negotiation, and resolve issues short of litigation. If bankruptcy proceedings are involved, we are experienced at advising creditors' committees and bankruptcy trustees as well as creditors and debtors. Our wide-ranging counsel extends to national corporations and small businesses,  commercial litigation plaintiffs and defendants, and property owners and developers.  We also render community service under the auspices of various organizations to individuals unable to otherwise afford legal services in our core practice areas.

Regional Capabilities

Deily, Mooney & Glastetter was formed in 1989 in Albany, New York. Today our 15 attorneys and 40-plus paralegals, legal assistants and support staff serve clients from offices in Albany and in the Boston and Philadelphia areas. Our attorneys are licensed to practice in a number of states. We appear on behalf of our clients in all courts in which our attorneys are admitted (New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, District of Columbia, Vermont, Connecticut and Kentucky), and in other jurisdictions (such as Maine, New Hampshire, Delaware, Ohio and Indiana) by permission of the court. Our institutional knowledge of courts in these jurisdictions enables us to act quickly and directly when litigation arises. In addition, our advanced case management technology is customized to comply with the diverse procedural requirements of the courts in which we practice.
