Retail & Commercial Collections

Deily, Mooney & Glastetter handles the collection of automobile and equipment deficiencies and commercial and consumer collection matters throughout the State of New York.  We pursue all of the judgment collection mechanisms that New York state law affords to creditors.  Our firm is licensed as a debt collector in the City of New York.

To support our efforts, we employ a professional staff of collectors, legal document specialists, skip tracers and asset locators, which uses all available technology to pursue maximum collections and recovery at minimal cost, such as

  • A state of the art call management system with a predictive dialer interface and capability for expansion
  • High volume of downloading and uploading capabilities
  • Custom letter series
  • Advanced online skip tracing databases
  • Night and weekend staff

In addition to the New York focus of our collections practice, we pursue replevin and other remedies as a means of enforcing creditors’ rights in all the courts where we practice.

Our firm offers a comprehensive debt collection approach to creditor clients, in which we:

  • Manage and track over 7,000 files through a fully integrated case management system, to ensure the timely and cost-effective pursuit of all appropriate steps toward judgment and enforcement.
  • Provide ongoing internal education to ensure compliance with the Fair Debt Collections Practice Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act and New York law.
  • Emphasize wage garnishment upon the entry of a judgment.
  • Conduct appropriate public record, court system and electronic searches to determine whether other assets are available and can be pursued.
  • Use effective internal controls and records management to ensure accuracy in our electronic reports to clients and in our payments processing and remittances.
